Teresa's Story

Teresa Francis has a passion for the law. While others may listen to real crime podcasts, you will find her spending time listening to trials. Once a survivor that felt powerless, she was able with the help of a good lawyer and mentor get out and start over. She then put herself through law school. The law is powerful and her passion for it grew. She believes that she was made to be of service to others and that is why she started her own family law practice. To help those who need help.

Praise and Testimonials

I am an advocate for victims of domestic violence, and Teresa is working with 2 of my clients. I am so impressed not only with her professionalism, and obvious legal skills, but her humanity and compassion for these women who are in very stressful situations. I have seen her go above and beyond for them on multiple occasions. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a divorce attorney.

A family member referred Teresa Francis to me because I needed an attorney to help me with my custody battle. She helped me translated all the paperwork handed over to me and also helped me respond. She came with me to every court case and fought with me. I would definitely refer her to anybody in alameda county.

Teresa filled out the divorce papers for me, printed them out right then and there, and then paper clipped them in an order that I'd need to file them with post-its on what to do with each one. She was very kind in the way she spoke to me and honestly helped me so much because I felt too crippled to fill out that form. I later ran into her at my hearing for the restraining order I filled against my ex-husband.
